My Take

While I’ve only been doing the podcast now for close to 5 years, I have been doing morning market preparation for my own portfolio for over 30 years. The process is ever changing, but learning new things about the market is something that happens. Did I listen to Trump this time? Unfortunately I didn’t listen ENOUGH. I sold some stocks last week, raised some cash and now have to deploy that cash at perhaps higher prices. But we’ve seen this before where the market pumps up and then settles down. Any reaction is an over reaction.

So my plan is to put some of the cash to work and then deploy it over time. I have my watch list available (just like it was on the way down) and I’ll make informed decisions using the tools I have available. Today’s tools are Trendspider and Seeking Alpha. Alpha Picks is my 3rd tool, but that’s still a work in progress for how I’m managing that portfolio.

The podcast is about how I go about looking at stocks vs. many other podcasts and newsletters that are about specific stocks. My goal is to show you how I go about making decisions vs. just telling you what decision to make. Trump literally told you Friday to Buy Stocks - Did you?

Remember when Trump said - buy stocks - he knew a deal with China - he knew a pharma executive order and he knew the communication to the street would be “America is making deals”. You just needed to know what to buy.

$hims was a total sale but all others were trims with profit taking but the point is - I didn’t listen and I should have. My journal will be updated!

Crowdstrike ( CRWD 0.00%↑ ) valuation is crazy so take some profits imo

$CRWD in the 4 hour algorithm. I didn’t use the algorithm to buy it, but I would have optimized my buys if I did.
