My Take
I’ve been big on using Sidekick from Trendspider lately to make my life just easier. It’s given me incredible direction on support and resistance levels with clear and actionable plans (remember - it’s not advice). Today I took it for a spin with pre earnings analysis of NVDA 0.00%↑ and DELL 0.00%↑ to see what it can tell us. I also took it for a post earnings analysis of MSFT 0.00%↑ and AMZN 0.00%↑ since I do feel these are great buys here. The direction was clear :
Pre earnings for NVDA 0.00%↑ should be profit taking.
Pre earnings for DELL 0.00%↑ should be a BUY if you’re bullish.
Post earnings for MSFT 0.00%↑ is a buy - but most likely April earnings will be a clearer direction.
Post earnings for AMZN 0.00%↑ is a buy - but likely waiting until April earnings is also a better decision.
So in the last few weeks my journal (this podcast) has been about the tools I use, having patience, market sentiment and identifying what has worked for me (Alpha Picks). I don’t know the direction of the market in the short or medium term, but I’m confident that finding good entry prices on quality stocks and identifying irrational market over reaction (like cybersecurity stock murder on Friday) is a pretty good long term portfolio formula for me.
In fact - I brought this up last week - Feb 19th. APP 0.00%↑ just crashed after Sidekick TOLD YOU TO SELL THE RIP!
All the Tools are on Sale - Don’t Miss out on Trendspider Sidekick - I show you how I used it today

So this week you can sign up for a 2 week trial of Trendspider for only $9 and get a 1 week trial of Seeking Alpha Premium. Both places can give you a readout on your portfolio heading in to what promises to be a volatile 2026.
Spend the weekend pushing some STRONG BUY stocks from Seeking Alpha’s Quant rating in to Trendspider’s Sidekick and see which ones might be ready to go higher!
And once you find stocks, go and put them to the test in Trendspider’s Sidekick.

SEEKING ALPHA
Seeking Alpha is my go to. I literally created the narrative that I put out today in the podcast by going to the Market Data page and looking at the YTD winners by sector, factors and other categories they have easily labeled and laid out. I find stocks by going to the TOP STOCKS section and finding quality fundamental names. The Bundle is the sweet spot because it comes with Alpha Picks - a data driven portfolio that historically has beaten the S&P. Click any of the photos to get a SPECIAL Valentines Day offer and get a FREE 7 day trial on Seeking Alpha Premium.

Monday
Get ready for the markets with just 1 article every morning
The big story is the tariffs
It went from 10% to 15% so i would expect more changes and more outrage and more big board style moments from now until Trump gets his way. It’s clear he can’t get it through Congress.
Here’s a complete list of what some analysts are looking at in regards to tariffs
And if you look at the weekly bollinger bands on VOO 0.00%↑ and QQQ 0.00%↑ … they are coiled for a move during the week of NVDA 0.00%↑ earnings.
Halo - hard assets …. Josh brown put it out there
But Ai continues to be the market moving catalyst so here’s a great recap of the week
Cybersecurity - I think the market is getting it wrong - but remember - sentiment could take these even lower
Hello 911 …. I’d like to report a murder
Here are a great bunch of articles and things I read this weekend about why the market is getting this wrong.
Any reaction is an over reaction ….
But security is not going to be disrupted
I tend to agree that these can be bought at these levels …. But find good entries
And the market sometimes stays irrational on the downside and upside longer
Burry is famous for the big short. He’s not so famous for shorting TSLA 0.00%↑ at $180 and it going to $1200. He lost a boatload. Today he’s shorting the hyperscalers and he’s doing it publicly ….. this is an absolutely perfect summary of what’s happening and the risk.
And here’s a news story if you have seeking alpha
Portfolio of risk
An interesting portfolio … could you hold these for 5 years?
Memory is still bullish
And if you think memory is done … it’s just now getting talked about
And an even bigger catalyst may be ready
Do you know what PLTR 0.00%↑ does?
A complete explanation of PLTR 0.00%↑ … this was really good and easy to understand - it’s meant to be political but it’s just a really good overview
A focus on AMZN 0.00%↑ and the 13 F filings of hedge funds - the big money is mixed on the stock
Is AMZN 0.00%↑ still a great buy this year? Did you know there’s only 2 mag 7 names that are ytd positive?
MSFT 0.00%↑ is the same - it’s a mixed bag from big money

Using Weinstein stage 4
Flashing a danger ⚠️

Energy is a bottleneck
Want to do a little watch list? Do it like this - find ytd winners - then look at the quant ratings- then decide if this sector has more room to grow and see if you want to add a new stock or etf to your portfolio.
Real estate is out performing as last year it was a huge laggard
Josh Brown gave his best stocks in the sector -
Do the research
Financials recovered from their ai moment
The sector is the worst performer ytd …. Will it rebound fully?
NViDIA NVDA 0.00%↑ earnings
Wednesday is the Super Bowl of earnings. NVDA 0.00%↑ for the past 3 years has been a day where you sell the news and buy a few days after the rally.
Will a blowout move the market?
Folks in the chat were looking at DELL 0.00%↑ …. Here’s a bullish catalyst
Let’s have sidekick guide us on what the plan might be.
And in the market - fomo rules - how to avoid it
If you have strategies - you don’t get FOMO. I like Alpha Picks like I said. They started loading in to AI in 2023. They started loading in to gold and metal miners in 2025. They started loading in to memory in October 2025. The Quant has a way of ranking “hot” areas of the market and the Alpha Picks team has a way of adding those stocks to the portfolio.
