My Take

My favorite episodes of the pod are the ones where I think I took people on a journey from discovering a stock to showing the gains. Whether that be me mentioning a stock I had gone through in January and taking a look at the progress or coming up with a thesis and identifying when it won. I’m not always right, but I have a good track record and in bull markets I tend to get an inflated ego. But overall it’s not rocket science and today I show you several stocks that I mentioned in just the past 2 shows that are way up. I don’t have any magic tools that are hidden nor do I have anything special and almost EVERYTHING is posted here for free. The people that complain that I do too much promotion for Trendspider and Seeking Alpha may have a different process or strategy or they may be regular listeners of the podcast and just feel they’ve heard it all before. But the new listener who’s out there who hasn’t listened or the person who has listened for years and hasn’t taken the plunge, I just want to show people the process is simple. Find a stock, determine if the risk/reward is there, come up with a strategy and execute it. The tools are just there to help. That’s why I think today is such a great episode. I had to move some stocks to tomorrow’s episode

There were so many stocks for today’s show that I had to move some to tomorrow so I pretty much have today’s podcast that you will hear and tomorrow’s done. Today there are huge movers including $kep which is nuclear up 83% ytd and failing $qs up 30% today but it’s been a falling knife.

Remember how I mentioned on Monday I liked $ccl on earnings? Well it was up 8% other earnings. It’s an alpha picks stock that I made quite a bit of money trading now.

✅ Top Stocks continue to outperform

The Top 2025 stocks yesterday as a group were up 3.32% outpacing the market and the Top 2nd Half stocks were up 3.77% again outpacing the market. 5 of the stocks were up more than 8% and 1 was up 13% yesterday. It’s been 1 week since the Top 2025 2nd half event and 3 of the stocks are up more than 10% with one up 17% and 2 up more than 13%.

How I found a stock that was up 10% yesterday - SEZL 0.00%↑

I also brought up the Top Stock in Seeking Alpha yesterday as it was new. I was NOT a fan of this one for an investment, but then again - it was a new top stock. We’ve seen this play out before with $PSIX and others in that top spot just TAKE OFF.

I literally just went to the TOP STOCKS section

$SEZL was quickly up 10% and you could have made an easy win on this trading it with confirmation. $hims was also a “buy the dip” I brought up. Here’s an analyst literally hand holding you and giving you the math behind $hims being a $100+ stock. Read the article and see what you think about it. For me this is a clear trade and currently not an investment but this article makes me want to trade it at these levels even more.

Investment or a Trade - identify it before you buy

But remember - there’s a difference between a trade and an investment. Here’s $10k 15 years ago invested with some pretty stable stocks. You’ll have to deal with volatility on something like NVDA 0.00%↑ or TSLA 0.00%↑

Buying and holding with a thesis far exceeds timing a trade in returns

🛡️ Cybersecurity is a BUY

I would suggest cybersecurity be an investment as I think it has long term ability to compound - find names you like and hold them. I hold $panw and trade $crwd and $ftnt - $crwd has been the better hold though

I also got an alert for $hood trading at all time highs. Remember - this didn’t get in to the S&P 500 yet and I really want to get in to this stock. I’ll decide if I want to buy here soon.

🏎️ Uber UBER 0.00%↑

A stock that I own that just got a buy in the 4 hour algorithm is $UBER. They announced a partnership with $GOOG Waymo here in Atlanta and it was the 4th best S&P stock yesterday behind $COIN, $ENPH and $DXCM.

I’ve said it before - $UBER is a $100 stock and I’ve been accumulating the stock. I sold a little at $80 as that was resistance but it’s clearly turned to support so on a pullback, that’s where I want to add more. I don’t think $TSLA is the only winner in the autonomous race.
